Stirling Moss Scrapbook 1955
€59,95  €42,50
Each book in the series is based on Stirling’s own private scrapbooks, photo albums and diaries, and will give a unique insight into his career and private life.

“Moss was very much the ‘Beckham of his era’. For every scrapbook covering his racing achievements, he has two for his private life. He raced hard, and off the track he lived life to the full,” said Philip Porter, author of the Moss Scrapbook series.

The significant year of 1955 is the topic of the first volume. This was a momentous breakthrough year for Stirling. Though seen as a driver of great promise for the future, he had yet to establish himself as a top Grand Prix driver and a household name. By the end of 1955, he was both.

The books are being compiled by award-winning motoring author Philip Porter, to whom Sir Stirling has given unique access and many interviews. For added color, Porter has interviewed Stirling’s friends and colleagues, and has included their anecdotes into the books.
